Monday, February 23

9:00 – 4:30 Minnesota Marketplace for Entrepreneurs at Alltel Civic Center
Open for workshop participants – free of charge
A link to the training sessions and activities will be sent to participants

6:00 p.m. Opening workshop reception and dinner followed by a keynote speaker

Tuesday, February 24

7:45-8:20 a.m. Breakfast at AmericInn and a welcome from hotel owner and entrepreneur

8:30 a.m. At MSU Campus – Welcome by administrators, overview, needs of Minnesota economy, needs/opportunities on campuses concerning entrepreneurship.

Facilitator led discussions.

Demographics and other entrepreneurial research for base to workshop.

9:45 a.m. Break/network

10:00 a.m. Breakout discussions on needs and ideas
Questions we need to address:

1. How do we foster entrepreneurial thought across our campuses?
2. How do we engage students in entrepreneurial activities on our campuses and our communities?
3. How do we implement entrepreneurial elements into majors other than business?
4. How do we develop a system-wide network to assist students?

10:30 a.m. Reconvene – discussion led by facilitator

11:15 a.m. Community partners will discuss their roles with campuses:
SBDC, RCEF, SMIF, SCORE, Student testimonies

12:00 p.m. Lunch with keynote speaker entrepreneurship field

1:30 p.m. Session led by speaker and facilitator.

2:30 p.m. Breakout sessions to further previous discussions and reaction to keynote.

3:00 p.m. Break/network

3:15 p.m. Planning and implementation / wrap-up

4:15 p.m. Conclusion
